LYMPNE NATIVITY PROCESSION

Lympne Nativity Procession a Charity event for all the family

Published: 25 November 2023

A spectacular new charity event is taking place in Lympne this year, raising funds for the local school, church and village halls.

This is on Sunday 17th December.

Over 100 volunteers will be helping and taking part along with donkeys and camels in a procession from village hall to castle to church that acts out the Christmas Story.

The donkeys, camels and costumes have been kindly provided by the castle.

For safety and to control numbers this will be a ticketed event, with tickets allocated for different start times between 1pm and 2:30pm.

Tickets will be on sale at the Lympne Christmas Fair (3rd December) and from Lympne Church and also on eventbrite. Tickets are adult (£24) and child (aged 2-12) £12 with group ticket (up to 4 people) for £50. If purchasing your tickets on eventbrite use the coupon code LYMPNEVILLAGE to save 50% on the price of tickets.Volunteers have a different discount code to get £5 tickets for family members.

Most volunteer roles have now been allocated but there are still places for marshalling and ticketing/registration roles – contact Rachel on lympnechurch@gmail.com if you can provide help.

On this day the castle car park will be shut (for safety). Free car parking and a free shuttle bus have been arranged at Holiday Extras, Newingreen, CT21 4JF.
