Without More Volunteers,
Lympne Youth Club May Not Survive

Lympne Youth Club has been a fixture of village life for many years, giving local children and teenagers a safe, friendly space to meet, play and make friends every week during term time at Lympne Village Hall. Anyone who has seen the hall buzzing on club nights knows how popular it is, with a strong, regular turnout of young people who look forward to their session all week.

But the club can only keep running with the help of
volunteers, and right now we need more hands on deck. The same small, dedicated group has given up their evenings for years to keep the club going, and that commitment is starting to take its toll. Without more support, we risk losing a much-loved part of village life for our young people.

We’re asking anyone in the community who can spare some time to come forward. Full training will be given, so no experience is necessary — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help. Volunteering doesn’t have to mean running the whole session: even an offer to help set up or pack away each week would ease the pressure on our existing volunteers.

The youth club meets on a Tuesday evening 6-8pm during term time.
